Welcome!

I am a France-based classical contralto singer, voice/stagecraft/music educator, and writer/creator from New Zealand.

I am passionate about bringing engaging classical music experiences to new (and returning!) audiences.

I believe in the transformative impact that my chosen art forms can have. As such, my goal is to create pathways so that they are accessible and approachable to anyone who wants to get involved!

"A feature of this production is the opportunity for younger talent to gain experience and the three genii – Barbara Graham, Katherine McIndoe and Kayla Collingwood – sing and manage their puppets with great skill."

- Michael Gilchrist, theatreview

"Two love songs, one from the dolce mezzo of Kayla Collingwood...underlined the extraordinary vocal quality which exists in such singers New Zealand."

- Sam Edwards, stuff.co.nz

"...Collingwood comes closest to nailing the Broadway pizzazz in her big aria, cataloguing the horrors of Z-grade movies with flurries of coloratura and spurts of rumba frenzy."

- William Dart, NZ Herald
